Genius Electronic Optical (GEO, 3406-TW), an optical component manufacturer in Apple’s supply chain, released its latest revenue data today (7th). In July 2026, the company achieved revenue of NT$2.422 billion, representing a 39.28% increase from the previous month and a 1.63% rise compared to the same month last year. Cumulative revenue from January to July 2026 reached NT$14.245 billion, up 14.51% year-over-year.

As GEO enters the third quarter, which coincides with peak market demand, demand for its optical lenses has increased. However, future revenue performance will ultimately depend on actual customer orders. Although overall revenue in July 2026 grew only 1.63% compared to July 2025, GEO explained that this was because VR lens module shipments still accounted for a significant portion in the prior year, whereas in 2026 such shipments are minimal. Therefore, when considering smartphone lenses alone, growth in July 2026 was clearly stronger.

Additionally, new products developed by GEO for other application areas have already been submitted to customers for certification, and the company is now awaiting further developments from the customer side.

Meanwhile, Largan Precision (3008-TW), another key supplier of smartphone lenses for Apple, reported July 2026 revenue of NT$4.877 billion, up 31.38% month-over-month but down 10.66% year-over-year. Largan experienced a temporary slowdown in June due to its customers’ transition between old and new phone models, but this led to a rebound in sales momentum in July. Based on current order visibility, Largan expects even stronger business performance in August.

Largan’s cumulative revenue from January to July 2026 totaled NT$34.086 billion, up 7.49% year-over-year.
