Diamond Investment (6901-TW) and Syncell (New Analysis Biotech) announced today (10th) the successful completion of a $20 million Series A+ funding round led by Diamond Investment. This funding will enable Syncell to accelerate the development of its proprietary platform technology in spatial proteomics and expand its global commercial footprint.

Louis Lu, General Manager of Diamond Investment, stated, "We began investing in Syncell in 2023 and have continued to support the company as its largest institutional shareholder. Over the past two years, Syncell has achieved exponential growth in equipment sales and revenue, establishing sales teams and collaborative networks across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. This funding round will empower Syncell to leverage its unique platform technology to advance innovative research and drug discovery collaborations globally, while scaling up its international commercial operations."

Syncell's Protein Phototargeting Instrument (Microscoop) is an AI-powered automated microscope system with capture capability, capable of identifying over 1,000 novel biomarkers at the nanoscale, significantly shortening the target discovery timeline for new drug development in diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer.

Dr. Chung-Chi Liao, CEO of Syncell, said, "Spatial proteomics has become a next-generation tool in life science research. Microscoop enables research institutions to explore disease mechanisms with superior resolution and accelerate drug discovery. It is currently being applied in complex disease research, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer."

Dr. Liao further added, "Microscoop is currently adopted by multiple international pharmaceutical companies and research institutions and has established a strategic partnership with global biotech instrumentation leader Thermo Fisher Scientific. We will continue to launch next-generation products with faster analysis speed and higher resolution to enhance research efficiency and broaden application scopes."

The funding round underscores growing investor confidence in spatial biology and precision medicine technologies. With enhanced R&D capabilities and expanded global reach, Syncell is positioned to become a key enabler in the global drug discovery ecosystem.
