DBS Bank today (13th) announced multiple senior leadership changes across Asia. Current CEO of DBS Bank (Taiwan), Huang Sihan, who delivered outstanding results during his tenure—including a record net profit of S$410 million in 2025—will assume the role of CEO of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) effective March 1, 2027. Concurrently, current CEO of DBS Bank (Indonesia), Lin Tzu-tsung, will take over as CEO of DBS Taiwan effective January 1, 2027. Additionally, Chua Wee Yong, Managing Director of Corporate and Institutional Banking at DBS Bank (Singapore), will become CEO of DBS Indonesia effective December 1, 2026.

This leadership transition follows the upcoming retirement of Paulus Pandu, Head of North Asia and CEO of DBS Bank (Hong Kong), who will step down on March 1, 2027, and transition to a Senior Advisor role. With 16 years of service, Paulus Pandu successfully led multiple strategic transformations in Hong Kong, where DBS Bank (Hong Kong) achieved a record net profit of S$1.61 billion in 2025. Other Greater China operations also reached an all-time high with S$791 million in net profit.

Incoming DBS Taiwan CEO Lin Tzu-tsung has over 30 years of experience with DBS. Since taking charge of Indonesia operations in August 2022, he led the team to achieve double-digit net profit growth in 2025 and expanded the bank’s strengths in wealth management and sustainable finance. Chua Wee Yong, who will succeed him in Indonesia, has deep expertise in strategic sectors such as automotive and food, and spearheaded the establishment of a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) team, creating new investment opportunities for the group across ASEAN markets.

Huang Sihan, who will take over as Hong Kong CEO, has led DBS Taiwan since 2023. He successfully completed the integration of Citibank’s consumer finance business in Taiwan, elevating DBS to the largest foreign bank in the market. The bank has also been named “Best International Bank in Taiwan” by Euromoney for two consecutive years. With over 20 years at DBS, Huang will leverage his extensive experience to further deepen the bank’s North Asia strategy.

DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta said, “Paulus Pandu has been instrumental in positioning DBS Hong Kong as a market leader. We thank him for his long-standing contributions.” This leadership reshuffle reaffirms DBS Bank’s strong talent pipeline and commitment to internal promotion.
