Flexible Copper Clad Laminate (FCCL) manufacturer Taimide (8039-TW) saw its stock price sharply rise today (14th), locking at the limit-up price of NT$274. Trading volume expanded significantly to 47,000 lots, pushing the share price to a new all-time high. Taimide’s latest financial performance shows an after-tax net profit of NT$412 million for the first half of 2026, representing a 2.57-fold year-on-year increase, with earnings per share reaching NT$1.56.
Taimide’s FCCL products account for 90% of its revenue from applications in smartphones and consumer electronics. However, facing supply chain uncertainties this year—including shortages of CCL, passive components, and memory—the company has adopted a conservative outlook for full-year operations. It is actively working to improve its product sales mix, and full-year 2026 revenue may remain at 2025 levels.
Taimide Technology, which has already completed and commenced operations at its Thai manufacturing facility, is currently developing new products beyond FCCL, including fine-line materials, PTFE-filled high-speed copper-clad laminates, and laser bonding materials for temporary adhesion applications. Development and sales progress remains on track, with fine-line high-end flexible board materials showing particularly strong sales performance. Semiconductor materials have further advanced into a new stage of engineering validation.
The completed and fully equipped Taimide Thailand plant accounted for less than 10% of the company’s total revenue last year. The company stated that production yield and efficiency at the Thai plant have gradually reached expected levels and will seek business opportunities in the market at the right timing.
