The Taiwan stock market opened slightly higher today (18th), reaching a high of 46,064 points, up approximately 207 points. It has been challenging the 46,000-point mark for three consecutive days, but under a heavy market observation mood, it once turned negative and showed narrow fluctuations. Today's trading volume is expected to continue to shrink to around 930 billion yuan.

Large-cap stocks today generally hovered around the flat line. TSMC (2330-TW) (TSM-US) lingered at the 2,400 yuan mark, while MediaTek (2454-TW) and Delta Electronics (2308-TW) both fell more than 1%. Others such as Foxconn (2317-TW), Epistar (3711-TW), and Epistar (2383-TW) also showed slight declines, suppressing the overall market performance.

Today, the market focused on the PCB and substrate groups. The benchmark stock XinXing (3037-TW) surged half a point, and NanDian (8049-TW) also had a 3% increase. BoSheng (6141-TW) even hit the limit, and others such as JinXiang Electric (2368-TW), JingGuo (6108-TW), and JianDing (3044-TW) all had more than 2% increases.

The silicon wafer group also attracted attention today. With Chongyue (5434-TW) releasing information that customers have started stocking up, the stock price once hit the limit today. HuanQiu Crystal (6488-TW) also hit the limit. Others such as TaiSheng Science (3532-TW) and HeJing (6182-TW) also had increases ranging from 3% to 6%, and the group's performance was quite consistent.
