While the Taiwan stock market consolidates at high levels, Chuanhu (2059-TW), a top-tier server rail manufacturer and one of the market's most powerful 'thousand-dollar stocks,' has seen its share price rise strongly. Today (18th), it broke through the 15,000 TWD mark during trading, setting a new all-time high. Since rebounding from its late-July lows, Chuanhu's stock has surged over 100%.
According to CMoney statistics, among the top ten Taiwan stock ETFs with the highest holdings in Chuanhu, all have investment weights exceeding 4%, with First Financial Industrial 30 (00728-TW) leading at 11.22%. Benefiting from Chuanhu's soaring stock price, 00728 rose逆势 during early trading today, reaching as high as 68.4 TWD, approaching its historical high set in mid-June.
CMoney's data shows that among the top ten Taiwan stock ETFs with the highest Chuanhu exposure, eight are actively managed and two are passively managed, with First Financial Industrial 30 being one of the two passive ETFs. These high-'lake' ETFs have not only gained from Chuanhu's surge over the past month but also delivered strong year-to-date performance, with top performers gaining over 70%. First Financial Industrial 30 has already achieved an 85% year-to-date gain.
Financial institutions note that Chuanhu's stock has more than doubled in less than a month, entering the elite 'thousand-dollar stock' club and capturing investor attention. However, with a per-share price around 15,000 TWD, the entry barrier is high for small investors. Selecting Taiwan stock ETFs with high Chuanhu holdings offers a viable alternative for participating in this explosive rally of high-priced stocks.
Tseng Wan-sheng, portfolio manager of First Financial Industrial 30, analyzed that while the Taiwan stock market has entered a consolidation phase at elevated levels, theme-driven stocks have shown strong逆势 performance recently. Notably, AI stocks, after experiencing significant valuation corrections mid-year, have received solid support and renewed upward momentum following better-than-expected profitability data from Taiwan's AI supply chain.
