Advantech Unveils AI Integrated Hardware-Software Platform IWS at Taipei International Automation Show to Drive Agentic AI in Smart Factories

Industrial computer giant Advantech (2395-TW) participated in the Taipei International Automation Show under the theme 'AI Empowering Edge Innovation, Shaping a New Industrial Landscape,' focusing on three core pillars: 'AI-Driven Smart Production,' 'AI Smart Operational Decision-Making,' and 'AI Infrastructure.' The company presented a comprehensive smart factory capability framework and offered diverse, flexible Edge AI solutions.

At the exhibition, Advantech unveiled its latest AI hardware-software integrated platform, IWS (Integrated WISE Solution & Station). By deeply integrating AI Agents with Edge AI, IWS enables AI to autonomously perceive, analyze, and assist in task execution directly on the manufacturing floor. While ensuring data security and real-time responsiveness, this integration enhances intelligent application capabilities at the edge, realizing the vision of 'Agents on-site, intelligence stays in the factory' and accelerating the deployment and scaling of Physical AI across various industrial applications.

Advantech stated that as AI and edge computing rapidly converge, competitiveness in smart manufacturing has evolved from isolated technological advantages to holistic system integration and ecosystem collaboration. The company will continue strengthening its Edge AI and WISE industrial intelligence platform strategy, partnering with global and local allies to co-develop deployable, scalable smart factory solutions that accelerate digital transformation and operational upgrades across industries.

The three core themes highlighted at the show include:

AI-Driven Smart Production: Next-generation AI factories powered by MMR and Digital Twin, high-speed wafer imaging solutions, SKYRack SEMI cabinet solutions, smart manufacturing software and edge computing solutions, and end-to-end AI factory workflows from simulation to execution.

AI Smart Operational Decision-Making: AI SOP-enabled production line management platforms, AI production decision assistants for assembly lines, AI-powered PHM (Predictive Health Management) for equipment maintenance, AMAX intelligent production line integration control solutions, and smart warehouse GTP (Goods-to-Person) solutions.

AI Infrastructure: Smart energy management platforms, semiconductor AI equipment power behavior analytics, and intelligent control solutions for high-computing-power AI cabinets.
