PC brand ASUS (2357-TW) participated in the 2026 Taipei International Industrial Automation Fair held from August 19 to August 22, collaborating with Yaskawa Electric and LILIN to showcase Physical AI solutions centered on diverse smart factory applications. ASUS is targeting the trillion-dollar embodied intelligence market opportunity through the integration of technologies such as visual recognition, edge computing, and machine control.
ASUS and Taiwan-based Yaskawa Electric jointly developed an AI robotic arm air hockey battle system, serving as a representative application in the field of physical smart manufacturing. The system integrates ASUS's proprietary AISVision visual recognition and real-time computing capabilities, achieving ultra-high-speed image capture at 120 FPS with single-frame processing as fast as 8ms, motion trajectory prediction, and millisecond-level system response times—demonstrating AI's ability to precisely drive mechanical equipment through visual perception, physical prediction, and real-time control.
For comprehensive manufacturing processes in smart factories, ASUS partnered with LILIN to introduce the AIEHS workplace safety monitoring system, establishing a safety perimeter in factory zones by identifying protective gear usage and worker behavior via AI. On the operational decision-making front, ASUS collaborated with Seng Wei International MES to deploy the AISODA intelligent scheduling system, optimizing production scheduling and resource allocation through the PDCA continuous improvement mechanism, thereby enhancing flexibility in manufacturing environments.
At the production line execution level, ASUS integrates AISVision visual inspection and AISDetector anomaly signal analysis, combining them with industrial computers and industrial server motherboards to fully meet real-time demands from image recognition to edge computing.
For core monitoring and autonomous edge decision-making, ASUS launched the ASUS PE3000N powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor supercomputer, equipped with real-time multimodal AI computing power. It can integrate visual, vibration, current, and various sensor signals to achieve sensor fusion and real-time edge inference. Combined with the InsightOne solution based on NVIDIA NemoClaw agent blueprints, it strengthens edge data integration and autonomous decision-making through intelligent data gateways and AI sub-agent architecture, while integrating with AISPHM and AISSENS equipment monitoring solutions to implement predictive maintenance and reduce unexpected downtime risks.
In terms of cybersecurity and data utilization, ASUS provides quantum-safe solutions covering migration assessment, phased implementation, and PQC certification, enhancing protection in industrial environments. Additionally, AI-EDR enables real-time anomaly detection to strengthen defenses. Paired with the RUC-2000 intelligent video retrieval platform, ASUS transforms on-site video streams into structured data, significantly improving factory safety audit and incident retrieval efficiency.
