Largan Precision (3008-TW), a key Apple optical component supplier actively investing in AI-driven optical communication components, released its latest earnings results on the 20th. For July 2026, Largan reported revenue of NT$4.877 billion and self-calculated post-tax net profit of NT$1.826 billion, representing a 6.97% year-on-year increase. Earnings per share (EPS) for the month were NT$13.94. Including its first-half financial report, Largan’s cumulative EPS from January to July reached NT$96.29.

Benefiting from persistently strong demand for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, and cloud services, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on the 20th the July 2026 export order statistics. The single-month order value reached a record-high US$97.94 billion, up 2.8% from the previous month and a substantial 61.9% year-on-year increase. On the 20th, the Taiwan Stock Exchange announced that to enhance investor convenience and market efficiency, the new intraday odd-lot trading system will officially launch on December 7 of this year. To encourage domestic travel and overnight stays, expand inbound tourism, stimulate the tourism market, and boost the economy, the Tourism Administration under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications will launch the "Tourism Dual-Drive Initiative" starting in September, allocating a total budget of NT$3.33 billion.
