Micron (MU-US) recently faced a strike dispute in Taiwan and today (11th) announced it will distribute FY26 (2026 fiscal year) rewards to over 60,000 employees globally. This reward package is the largest in company history, reflecting its long-term commitment to sharing success with employees. In Taiwan, in addition to a NT$1 million appreciation bonus for each employee, the average total compensation for entry-level engineers, including stock awards, reaches NT$3.4 million.

Micron stated that in Taiwan, FY26 rewards include a NT$1 million cash appreciation bonus for employees hired before August 29, 2025, with pro-rated bonuses for those joining during FY26. Additional components include annual performance bonuses of up to 500% of base target and extra stock awards. Production line employees in Taiwan will receive total compensation equivalent to 35 to 68 months of salary.

Micron Taiwan employees' FY26 cash compensation will start from NT$1.7 million; the average cash compensation for entry-level engineers is NT$2.9 million. Including stock awards calculated at grant value, the average total compensation reaches NT$3.4 million. Micron's annual performance-based salary adjustments and stock awards will achieve 100% coverage, enabling every employee to become a shareholder and share in the company's long-term success.
