MapleStory Announces New Event 'Oshi Discovery Project'!

Nexon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jung-Hun Lee; TSE: 3659), a company engaged in the production and operation of online games, will hold a new event, 'Oshi Discovery Project,' for its PC online MMORPG 'MapleStory' starting Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

In the 'Oshi Discovery Project,' a new NPC named 'Ai' will appear. Players will go on an adventure with Ai to find fan art of her 'oshi' (favorites) scattered throughout the Maple World. By progressing through the event and collecting fan art cards, players can obtain event-exclusive items such as titles and totems. Additionally, they can design their own 'ita-bag,' an essential item for fan activities, and display it as furniture in their in-game home.

Furthermore, the 'Saioshi General Election' will be held simultaneously to determine the top 3 out of 24 fan art pieces. Participants in the election can earn exclusive items based on the number of votes they cast. The fan art that ranks 1st to 3rd in the election will be produced as an in-game item, the 'Oshi Cape Choice Coupon,' so please participate.

A new event, 'Oshi Discovery Project,' featuring the new NPC 'Ai' is here! Ai's saviors and 'oshi' are 'Lara,' 'Angelic Buster,' and 'Luminous.' To support them, she created her own fan art collection, '☆My-Stars☆,' but it seems her passion was too strong, causing the fan art to materialize and scatter across the Maple World. Set in 'Ikebukuro,' the holy land of fan activities, let's go on an adventure to find the fan art filled with Ai's feelings!

Events

1. Ai's Fan Activity Diary By defeating 1,000 monsters of an appropriate level, you can check in on Ai's Fan Activity Diary. You can obtain various growth support items according to the number of check-ins. Also, by collecting fan art cards from each event, you can get event-exclusive rewards like the '☆MY-STARS☆ Title' and 'Oshi Totem Choice Coupon' as part of Ai's top recommendation set.

2. Find the Scattered Faves! When you defeat a certain number of monsters, your support team members will activate a skill to wipe out enemies. After activating the skill a certain number of times, a mission to obtain a fan art card will appear. Clear the mission to collect various fan art cards.

3. Ita-Bag Decoration Use the fan art cards you've collected to decorate your ita-bag. The design of the decorated ita-bag can be placed as furniture in your home, and you can click on it to view it.

4. Ai's Gratitude 'Oshi Coins' obtained in each event can be exchanged for various items at 'Ai's Gratitude Coin Shop.' The lineup includes items such as 'Karma Unique Potential Scroll 100%,' 'Sol Erda,' and 'Legendary Circulator.'

'Saioshi General Election' Voting Starts!

Choose your 'oshi' from 24 illustrations and cast your vote! Voting rights can be obtained by logging into the special site, playing the game, or acquiring cards in the 'Oshi Discovery Project' event. Use your voting rights to vote on the voting page within the special site. Depending on the number of votes, you can obtain an 'Oshi Frame Choice Coupon' and an 'Oshi Cape Choice Coupon.' The 'Oshi Cape Choice Coupon' is a special in-game item created from the fan art that wins 1st to 3rd place in the general election.
