NEXT INNOVATION's indie label 187RECORDS announced the release of The Deity's new song 'KARATACHI' on April 15, 2026. This release follows a 10-month hiatus after the artist underwent surgery in August 2025 to remove half of the right lung due to an unidentified mass. The song uses the motif of the 'Karatachi' (Trifoliate Orange) plant to symbolize the complexities of human life. The music video, filmed in the snowy Kusatsu Onsen district in Gunma, is scheduled for release on April 16. The Deity has over 290,000 YouTube subscribers and a global fan base.
