'Curious George Exhibition: Because You're Here, Every Day is Fun' Announced

Celebrating the 85th anniversary of the picture book's publication in 2026, the exhibition 'Curious George Exhibition: Because You're Here, Every Day is Fun' will be held at Matsuya Ginza from August 13 (Thu) to August 25 (Tue), 2026. This exhibition delivers the charm of Curious George through an 'experiential' format, focusing on his curious daily life and his heartwarming relationship with the Man with the Yellow Hat. At the venue, through special unreleased footage and three-dimensional productions, many popular stories from about 400 episodes will be introduced. Photo spots recreating popular scenes will also appear, allowing visitors to enjoy a world view as if they had stepped into the story. The exhibition consists of five areas, covering everything from George's personality introduction to the recreation of popular episodes, character relationship charts, a focus on the Man with the Yellow Hat, and the journey of the original authors, the Reys. Additionally, as related information, the documentary film 'Monkey Business: The Adventures of Curious George's Creators,' directed by Emma Yamazaki, will be released nationwide starting August 14 (Fri).
