NIDEK CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture; President & CEO: Motoki Ozawa, hereinafter "NIDEK") announced that it has concluded an "Official Bronze Partner Agreement" with the Japan Goalball Association (Headquarters: Adachi Ward, Tokyo; President: Michiko Kajimoto, hereinafter "Japan Goalball Association") on Wednesday, April 1.

The Japan Goalball Association, as the central sports federation for goalball in Japan, is working to promote sports for the visually impaired, hold domestic tournaments, and dispatch Japanese representative players to international tournaments. NIDEK was established to "make the invisible visible" and has been working on the development of technologies related to vision. This partnership is based on the policy of "improving QOL (Quality of Life) with partners" as part of efforts to support people with eye diseases. We will contribute to the development of goalball, a sport for the visually impaired, and the realization of a symbiotic society.
