Overview The Climate Change Adaptation Center (hereinafter referred to as 'CCCA') of the National Institute for Environmental Studies published two booklets, 'A-PLAT BOOK' and 'A-PLAT BOOK KIDS', in April 2026, featuring the theme of 'adaptation' to climate change. We created these two booklets targeting everyone from preschoolers to adults, with the intention of them being distributed and utilized by local governments and at environmental events.

To make them visually enjoyable as well as informative, both the adult and kids versions of the booklets feature manga. (Adult version 'A-PLAT BOOK': Left, Kids version 'A-PLAT BOOK KIDS': Right)

The kids version, 'A-PLAT BOOK KIDS', incorporates activities like 'spot the difference', 'coloring pages', and 'mazes' throughout, designed so that small children can deepen their understanding of climate change adaptation actions while having fun.
