Hotel Metropolitan Morioka (Main Building: Morioka Station Front / NEW WING: Morioka Station North Front, General Manager: Takashi Sato) will host a gastronomic banquet at NEW WING to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Morioka Terminal Building Co., Ltd. We have invited Chef Katsuhiro Nakamura, Special Advisor and Honorary Executive Chef of Nippon Hotel Co., Ltd., who was the first Japanese to earn a Michelin star. He will co-star with Hotel Metropolitan Morioka's 3rd Executive Chef Hitoshi Takahashi and 4th Executive Chef Mikio Kano—who have both studied under Chef Nakamura and inherited his skills and passion—to present a one-night-only course meal expressing "Tradition" and "Evolution". While looking back on the hotel's history and trajectory through videos and a talk show, please enjoy a dinner that weaves the upcoming story of the future connecting our guests and the hotel.
