Game starts at 13:00 (Public entry from 11:30) NPB Farm League Exchange Game Vs: Yokohama DeNA BayStars Venue: Yukyuzan Baseball Stadium, Nagaoka City *The collaborative cheering is scheduled for innings 1-5.
Message from Nagaoka High School Brass Band: Our brass band, also known as 'Nagabuki,' sets 'Will' as our goal, striving for intentional actions and performances every day. We hope to energize the stadium today by uniting with the players and all the spectators. Thank you for your support!
About Collaborative Cheering: Since last season, Oisix has launched the 'Niigata Youth Yell' project to provide students with opportunities to showcase their club activity achievements at the stadium.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, declining birth rates, and efforts to reduce the burden on instructors, opportunities for students to present their activities have been decreasing. Furthermore, some club activities lack conventional presentation venues or have limited tournament opportunities, making public performance a high hurdle. We initiated this project to create valuable student memories and for Oisix to draw energy from the students.
We actively pursue collaborations with brass bands from various high schools and universities, conducting cheering performances similar to high school baseball games.
This time, through our mutual desire to support the 'Nagaoka Citizens Day' and enliven both the team and the region, this first-ever collaboration with Nagaoka High School was realized.
