Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club has announced that pitcher Takato Takada departed the team on May 29 to facilitate a transfer to the Doosan Bears, a professional baseball team in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO).

In his farewell message, Takada stated: "I am excited to announce my transfer to the Doosan Bears in the KBO. Although my time here was short—only a year and a half—I am deeply grateful for all the support I received. I want to thank the team for understanding my desire to take on this challenge despite the difficult timing mid-season. I will do my best to grow further in Korea and hope to show you an even better version of myself back in Japan in the future."

Born in 2002 and hailing from Shizuoka, Takada is a 179cm, 84kg left-handed pitcher. He began his professional career with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars (2021-2024) before joining Oisix Niigata in 2025.

Oisix Niigata Albirex BC currently competes in the NPB Farm League. Under the leadership of Chief Baseball Officer (CBO) Masumi Kuwata since 2026, the organization continues its mission to be Japan's premier developmental club, fostering talent for the global stage.
