Nishikawa Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter 'Nishikawa') will exhibit for the first time at the '3rd SPEXA - International Space Business Exhibition,' one of Japan's largest space business trade shows, held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, May 27 to Friday, May 29, 2026. The company is participating as part of the 'HELLO SPACE ECONOMY' joint booth (involving 10 companies), led by Future Space Transport Systems Corporation (hereinafter 'ISC'), which embodies the value chain of the space economy.

As private-sector efforts in rocket launches continue and the goal of regular space flights approaches, movements are beginning to look toward an era where existing businesses will expand and grow on a cosmic scale. While a future where everyone can go to space becomes more realistic, 'physical and mental conditioning'—particularly the 'assurance of sleep quality'—in extreme enclosed environments or under microgravity is positioned as critical risk management that dictates the success of missions.

At this exhibition, Nishikawa will introduce its sleep tech, including gear that improves conditioning starting from sleep, based on its high performance already established on Earth. The company will also demonstrate how its superior technology and long-standing knowledge can contribute to the healthcare infrastructure for the entire process of space travel in the future.

At the venue, the company will present specific solution images of how current terrestrial services and technologies can be applied to space environments. It will also introduce the concept of a circular sleep solution where future sleep research data obtained in space can be returned to Earth (Earth Return) for product development.

[Solutions Supporting Preparation, Space Stay, and Return]

1. [Pre] Preparation (Earth/Home/Hotel) Approach Nishikawa aims to build a system that supports optimal physical condition maintenance and management for space travel by pre-scoring vital and sleep data through the sleep app 'goomo'.

2. [Mid] Space Stay (Space/Rocket/Module) Approach Based on knowledge from the sensing mattress '[Air Connected] SX Mattress', Nishikawa is pursuing research to apply non-contact vital sensing and comfort to space environments. Furthermore, leveraging autonomic nervous system balance visualization technology, the company aims to establish a concierge system that automatically controls and recommends nutrition, aroma, exercise, and sleep environments (AC/BGM) to maximize rest quality.

3. [Post] Return (Earth/Home/Hotel) Approach Nishikawa is testing the application of its advanced recovery technology, which promotes blood circulation and fatigue recovery (such as 'Wearable Recovery'), for after returning to Earth. The goal is to contribute to rapid social reintegration and recovery through improved 'rest quality'.
