NOMAD Appointed Official Japanese Agency for Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Posters

NOMAD Inc. (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which aims for the "co-transmission" of Nordic and Japanese lifestyles primarily centered in Denmark, signed an official agency agreement in January 2026 for the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's poster collection in Japan.

Established in 1958, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is one of Denmark's leading museums and is hailed as "one of the most beautiful museums in the world." Known for its fusion of coastal nature, architecture, and art, it has hosted numerous exhibitions by world-renowned artists such as Picasso, Giacometti, and David Hockney. The museum's exhibition posters are highly acclaimed worldwide for their fusion of artistic expression and graphic design, and are developed as a poster collection. The poster collection, featuring artists who have graced the museum's history, boasts over 200 pieces, with new additions continuously growing.

Our company has been handling this poster collection since last year, and with this agreement, we will further strengthen its development in Japan.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art Poster Exhibition

From Friday, April 24, 2026, to Monday, May 25, 2026, a poster exhibition will be held at Idée Shop Roppongi, organized by Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. IDÉE.

This exhibition will feature a selection of 24 posters from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's collection that can also be enjoyed as interior decor, including works by renowned artists such as Matisse and David Hockney. Original museum tote bags will also be sold, and during the period, catalog presents are planned for poster purchasers (limited quantity).

Furthermore, in conjunction with the full-scale poster exhibition in Japan, representatives from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art will visit Japan on April 25 (Friday).
