This summer, children will encounter "nature," "culture," and "people," and in doing so, encounter themselves.
A three-day experience in the rich environment of Nozawa Onsen, where they will think for themselves, cooperate with friends, and take on challenges.
We deliver an experience that becomes a lifelong asset, not just something that ends with "it was fun."
In an era where AI can provide answers.
That is precisely why what is truly needed is the ability to think for oneself, cooperate with friends, and take on challenges.
Through connections with nature, culture, and people that can only be found in Nozawa Onsen, we foster the "ability to live" that cannot be learned in classrooms.

CONCEPT Learning that can only happen in Nozawa Onsen.
Nozawa Onsen has a history of people, nature, and culture living in connection.
Water flowing from the mountains. Hot springs. Vegetables and rice grown in the fields.
Culture passed down by the local people.
All of these exist within a "cycle."
In this camp, participants will learn while actually seeing, touching, and feeling this cycle.
Nature is the textbook. The community is the teacher.
And one's own experience is the greatest learning.
3 DAYS PROGRAM DAY 1: Learn & Connect
"Understanding the Cycle of Nozawa Onsen"
First, using picture books, we will learn about:
- The cycle of nature
- The cycle of people
- The cycle of culture
After that, we will head out into the village for an exploration to find "the world of the picture book" in reality.
Walk through Nozawa Onsen, meet people, touch nature, and experience the unique lifestyle of this land. In the afternoon, we will harvest vegetables in the fields. Using the vegetables we harvested ourselves, we will make dinner starting with building a fire.
Participants will experience where "food" comes from. We will also receive wood that has marked 120 years of history in Nozawa Onsen from a local resident, and use it to create name badges for each child. Wood that has fulfilled its role will take on a new form, accompanying the children's three days.
DAY 2: Think
"Creating Our Own Play"
The stage is the mountains of Nozawa Onsen.
There is no set way to play in nature.
Therefore,
"How should we play?" "What do we want to do?"
Children will think for themselves and create their own games.
Staff will not provide answers, but will think alongside the children and support their challenges.
Back at the lodge, we will continue to enjoy the Nozawa Onsen summer. - Making Shinshu specialty Oyaki
- Catching rainbow trout
- BBQ
- Watermelon splitting
- Fireworks
We will create unforgettable summer memories together with friends.
DAY 3: Turning Bonds into Strength and Challenging
"Increasing the Number of 'I Did It!' Moments"
With the bonds forged with friends over the two nights and three days, we will embark on our final challenge.
In SUP, we will foster the courage to take a step forward by encouraging and supporting each other.
At the closing ceremony, participants will reflect on the three days and realize not only their own growth but also the importance of the time spent with their friends.
"I want to see them again."
Meeting such friends will be the treasure of this camp.
"5 Strengths" that can only be fostered by this camp 🌱 The ability to think for oneself
The ability to think and act for oneself, rather than being told the correct answer.
🔥 The ability to challenge
Courage to take a step into something new without fear of failure.
🤝 The ability to connect with others
The ability to interact with and cooperate with friends and local people.
🌿 The ability to live in harmony with nature
Knowing the cycle of nature and cherishing it.
🌎 The ability to love the region
The ability to feel a connection with the region by experiencing the unique culture and lifestyle of Nozawa Onsen.
MESSAGE "The ability to live, nurtured in nature."
What we want to deliver is not just an outdoor experience.
Nozawa Onsen has a "cycle" passed down through mutual support between nature, culture, and people.
Receiving the blessings of the mountains, learning from human connections, and experiencing the local culture.
Through three days of becoming part of the village's cycle, children will foster the ability to think for themselves, challenge themselves, and live.
May the small challenges and encounters born here become a new cycle that leads to the future.
We, the staff, look forward to meeting you all in Nozawa Onsen this summer.
