The non-profit organization Kodomo Daigaku Mito (Board Chair: Koki Okamoto) will launch the 13th term of 'Kodomo Daigaku Global' on August 8, 2026, for students ranging from 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd grade junior high school.

The program is a hybrid initiative combining physical venues in locations like Tokyo and Tsukuba with online live streaming, allowing participation from homes, schools, or anywhere globally.

For the 13th term, experts in cosmology, environmental studies, engineering, and biology will serve as lecturers, addressing students' genuine curiosities with authentic knowledge and research-based experiences. Over the past 12 terms, more than 100 experts have lectured, with over 40,000 parents and children participating.
