The IRO Certified International Rescue Dog Test, which took place over three days until May 10th at the Yatsugatake International Rescue Dog Training Center, has successfully concluded (Tournament Chairman: Akinori Eto, Member of the House of Representatives, former Minister of Defense).
Judges from South Korea and the Czech Republic visited Japan to conduct the evaluations, which included wide-area search, rubble search, and obedience exercises.
With the top-performing pair in stage B earning the right to participate in the World Championship, individual dogs performed search operations tailored to various scenarios and were judged. The pair of Ruka Murase emerged as the winner.

The Rescue Dog Trainers Association (RDTA) plans to hold its second domestic MRT (Mass Rescue Training) in November this year, aiming for domestic deployment standards, to test whether rescue dog pairs have the capability to be deployed in times of disaster.
