Nippon Steel Trading Donates 3 Million Yen as Gold Sponsor to DMHC

Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (hereinafter "the Company") has positioned "deepening ESG management" as one of the major themes under its mid-term management plan, which is based on the concept of "realizing a resilient, growth-oriented company that contributes to society as a core trading company of the Nippon Steel Group." As part of this effort, the Company shares the goals of the Donald McDonald House Charities Japan (hereinafter "DMHC") and has donated 3 million yen as a gold sponsor, continuing from last year. At the gratitude ceremony hosted by DMHC on May 19, the Company received a commemorative shield and pins in appreciation of its ongoing support. Following the ceremony, the "Gratitude Gathering 2026" was held, where a message from Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi (read by Hiroo Inoue, Secretary to the Prime Minister) was presented, providing an opportunity to deepen understanding of the importance of supporting children facing illnesses and their families. The Company will continue to engage in social contribution activities and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
