NTS Safety Household Finance Research Institute (Minato-ku, Tokyo) has reported that its 'Shien' Life, Work, and Independence Consultation Center, operated as a commissioned project for Yachiyo City, Chiba, has celebrated its first anniversary. According to the press release, the center opened in April 2025.

To mark this milestone, the center's activities were featured in the May 15th issue of Yachiyo City's public newsletter, 'Koho Yachiyo.' This publication is distributed at public facilities and train stations within the city.

'Shien' is a comprehensive consultation service aimed at promoting the self-reliance of residents facing financial difficulties. It handles a wide range of issues, including employment, housing, and household financial improvement. When necessary, the center collaborates with the Yachiyo City Hall and local support organizations to find the best solutions for its clients.

The institute stated, "We hope to continue being a valued resource by leveraging the connections and know-how we have gained with residents over the past year."

The announcement also advises individuals with similar concerns living outside Yachiyo City to promptly contact the welfare consultation services established by their own local municipalities.

Inquiries regarding 'Shien' can be directed to the institute's Yachiyo Office (Phone: 047-456-8141, Website: https://nts-safety.com/shien/). Office hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays.
