NTT West Japan Corporation (hereinafter, NTT West Japan) Group conducted a region-wide cleanup initiative from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Monday, June 15, 2026. Approximately 5,000 participants from NTT West Japan Group branches across the western Japan region took part in the cleanup activities, collecting a total of 473 bags (approximately 21,000 liters) of waste in 45-liter garbage bags. This volume is equivalent to the daily waste output of approximately 2,200 people.

※ Based on internal calculations. Total waste volume was estimated from the number of garbage bags collected (referencing Fukuoka City Institute of Health and Environmental Sciences' survey, 'Investigation on Waste Weight per Designated Garbage Bag (2019)'), then divided by the average daily waste generation per person of 839g (from the Ministry of the Environment's press release, 'Status of General Waste Generation and Disposal (2026 Fiscal Year)', dated March 27, 2026).
