NUWORKS Acquires Rocket Mobile as a Subsidiary

NUWORKS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryo Miura) announced today that it has acquired all shares of Rocket Mobile, thereby making it a subsidiary.

Rocket Mobile is a company that provides communication services as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). As the social implementation of Physical AI, including delivery, cleaning, and transport robots, progresses, the market for IoT communication devices that support these operations is expected to expand significantly. Through this acquisition, in addition to expanding the online sales channels that NUWORKS is focusing on, the company will establish a business foundation in the rapidly growing IoT communication sector.

Furthermore, Takahiro Kadoya was appointed as Representative Director of Rocket Mobile in April 2026. With extensive experience as a board member at a major mail-order company, Kadoya brings deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry to lead Rocket Mobile's management.

Background As a "Sales Platform Company," NUWORKS has been developing a marketing business that handles over 100 products for both individuals and corporations, backed by a vast sales network and extensive customer touchpoints. As a medium-to-long-term management challenge, the company has prioritized the strengthening of its product business (development and sales of content and services) to accumulate stock-type revenue, particularly accelerating expansion into the Physical AI and IoT communication sectors.
