Limited Edition OAKLEY MUZM FATCAT Revived from the Archive
Oakley's FatCat model from its 2004 archive is making a comeback. Iconic Oakley design returns as part of the curated MUZM collection, bridging generations more than 20 years after its original release.
MUZM FatCat retains the organic form and deep-set lenses that became a cultural icon in the early 2000s, while now featuring Prizm™ lens technology. The bold proportions of Oakley's heavy-stretch logo, which defined the iconic silhouette, highlight Oakley's timeless design. The use of lightweight O-Matter™ material ensures that the frame and temples combine durability and flexibility, making them perfect for everyday wear.
This revival is part of the 'Players Collection,' a collaboration with athletes driving sports culture. Campaign visuals and videos feature Team Oakley athlete and professional soccer player Alexia Putellas, who is rapidly transforming culture through her unique style and advocacy for gender equality in sports. MUZM FatCat honors Oakley's cultural heritage by fusing the brand's past and future.
'FatCat possesses a rare balance of tradition and a futuristic feel,' says Putellas. 'It feels like a design rooted in definitive moments of sports culture while looking toward the future.'
MUZM FatCat will be available in two color variations: Matte Black Frame (Prizm™ Grey Lens) and Cream Frame (Prizm™ 24K Polarized Lens). It goes on sale starting May 27 at the official Oakley online store (Oakley.com), select Oakley stores in Shibuya, Osaka, Harajuku, and Fukuoka, and authorized Oakley retailers.
