Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. will expand the eligibility for its summer polo shirt uniforms to all station staff, including part-time workers, starting June 1, 2026. This initiative is a response to the recent trend of extreme summer heat, aiming to reduce the physical strain on employees performing safety checks and customer service on platforms, thereby further enhancing safety and service quality. The wearing period is from June 1 to October 31 each year. The uniform is a customized Uniqlo AIRism polo shirt, chosen for its wrinkle resistance and stable supply. Odakyu will continue to create a better working environment in response to climate change to provide high-quality service.
