Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. Conducts Community Awareness Activities for 'Local Welfare Commissioner Day'

Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. conducted a special light-up and welcome vision display at Okinawa Suntory Arena on May 12, 2026, to coincide with 'Local Welfare Commissioner and Child Welfare Commissioner Day.' These efforts aimed to promote understanding and raise awareness of regional welfare activities, following last year's initiative.

Local Welfare Commissioners and Child Welfare Commissioners serve as the most accessible consultants for residents, addressing broad community issues by supporting the elderly, children, child-rearing households, and people with disabilities. In its pursuit of community-connected arena management, Okinawa Arena Co., Ltd. supports this mission and continues its collaboration with Okinawa City for these awareness efforts.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, May 12, Gordy, the mascot of the Ryukyu Golden Kings, participated in a ceremony. Through interaction with the commissioners and local residents, the mascot helped create a lively and joyful atmosphere at the venue.
