Grand Nikko Awaji Launches 'Island Breeze Afternoon Tea' Starting June 1

Grand Nikko Awaji (located at 2 Yumebutai, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture; General Manager: Minako Hoshino) will offer the 'Island Breeze Afternoon Tea' for a limited time from June 1 (Mon) to August 31 (Mon), 2026, at the lobby lounge 'Lucciola.'

This afternoon tea expresses the transition from fresh early summer to sparkling summer by combining seasonal ingredients from Awaji Island with tropical fruits.

As a welcome drink, we have prepared a refreshing glass of Awaji Island lemon squash mixed with honey and ginger.

Sweets include 'Mango Pudding,' made with apple mango puree and Awaji Island milk, topped with mango arranged in the shape of a rose. The lineup also features pound cake kneaded with mango pulp and puree, mini tarts topped with pineapple and mango, 'Coconut Mousse Verrine' with colorful fruits, and a chilled glass dessert using Awaji Island's local soda 'I love ne' (I love ne jelly). Additionally, macarons featuring the refreshing acidity of Awaji Island lemon, a moist and rich 'Awaji Island Cheesecake,' and coconut-scented scones will color the tea stand brilliantly.

For savory dishes, guests can enjoy carpaccio made with fish caught in the waters off Awaji Island, seasonal fruits with prosciutto, an Awaji beef burger, and a stick salad of Awaji summer vegetables served with basil sauce.
