ONESTRUCTION Selected for GENIAC Phase 4 to Develop Construction-Specific AI Model

ONESTRUCTION Co., Ltd., which develops openBIM-focused construction solutions, has been selected for Phase 4 of the domestic generative AI development project 'GENIAC' (Generative AI Accelerator Challenge) run by METI and NEDO. Building on its Phase 3 achievement of developing the 'Ishigaki-IDS' model for Information Delivery Specifications (IDS) generation and its benchmark 'IDS-Bench', ONESTRUCTION aims to develop a construction-domain-specific foundation model that consistently generates 3D models and BIM data from drawings. During Phase 4, the company will focus on integrating construction-specific domain knowledge, improving BIM standard compliance (IFC standard), and verifying work-time reduction across construction lifecycles. Additionally, ONESTRUCTION will host a joint panel discussion with Airion Co., Ltd. on industry-specific AI development at its Tokyo office on June 30, 2026, from 19:00 to 20:00.
