One Technology Japan to Host Online Seminar on April 23, 2026: Streamlining Site Surveys, Drawing, and BIM with iPhone Point Cloud Technology

One Technology Japan (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; CEO: Naoki Komoto), developer of the iPhone LiDAR apps 'InsightScanX', 'AI Inspector', and 'HOUSECAN', will host a free online seminar on April 23, 2026, at 14:00. The seminar is titled: 'Are you losing profit to manual drawing costs for renovation projects without blueprints? Streamlining drawing and BIM with iPhone, point clouds, and AI.'

Background: With the rising demand for renovations, projects lacking blueprints or relying on outdated CAD are increasing. This forces teams to perform manual surveys and drawing from scratch, draining profits. Based on interviews with over 100 companies, two major issues were identified: 1) Excessive time spent on manual on-site data collection, and 2) Days required for post-survey CAD/BIM conversion. This seminar will demonstrate how iPhone LiDAR can solve these issues through semi-automated workflows, while honestly sharing both successful use cases and failures from 5 different industries.
