Reins International, operator of the 'Shabu Shabu Onyasai' restaurant chain, announced the launch of its 'Nabe Nomi Set,' available on weekdays starting May 27, 2026. The set, priced at 1,980 yen (2,178 yen including tax), offers a two-hour all-you-can-drink plan alongside a selection of hot pot dishes. In preparation for this launch, the company conducted a survey from May 20 to 22, 2026, targeting 600 working adults aged 20 to 40, to explore the relationship between dining out and interpersonal communication. The survey found that nearly 70% of respondents experience increased stress during the new life season (April to June), and over 90% utilize dining out as a venue for discussing these concerns. However, nearly 70% reported difficulty sharing their true feelings while dining out, citing factors like ambient noise and the difficulty of finding the right moment to speak. In contrast, 64.5% of respondents identified Shabu Shabu and hot pot dishes as easier for communication. Reasons cited included the natural pauses in conversation, the proximity created by cooking together, and the benefit of sharing a collective experience. Based on these findings, Onyasai is promoting the 'Nabe Nomi Set' as a comfortable environment for slow, meaningful conversation, supporting guests' social interactions.
