GENSEN HOLDINGS Inc. will reopen its hot spring resort 'TAOYA Shima' in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, on July 18, 2026, after a partial renovation. To accommodate diverse travel styles, guest room layouts have been significantly redesigned to offer a more comfortable and private stay. Some 3-guest rooms are now 2-guest rooms, and 4-guest rooms are now 3-guest rooms, replacing sofa beds with stylish chairs and single beds. The lobby lounge has also evolved into an open space for gathering and relaxation. A fireplace was moved from the starry sky terrace into the lounge, and a new dessert buffet counter was installed to serve 'Afternoon Tea' and 'Night Afternoon Tea'. As an all-inclusive resort, TAOYA Shima offers guests a luxurious, stress-free experience with stunning views of Ise Bay, complimentary lounge drinks, and premium amenities.
