Omugi Kobo Roa will hold a "Factory Festival" at its factory outlet in Ashikaga, Tochigi, on "Barley Day," June 6th, to express gratitude to the local community through factory tours and limited-edition sweet sales.

Coinciding with "Barley Day," which is commemorated on June 6th based on the Japanese wordplay of "O" (for Barley) and "6" (for the day), we will hold a special celebratory event. To thank the local community for supporting "Omugi Dacquoise" since its inception 30 years ago, we have prepared special activities that the whole family can enjoy, including factory tours, dining at the restaurant Omugi-tei, and game corners.

As a highlight this year, we will offer "freshly squeezed raw dacquoise" using chestnut paste from Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, for 100 yen (including tax, limited to 200 pieces). Additionally, the factory outlet will feature special-priced sales of our signature barley-chestnut terrine (limited to 200 units) and "imperfect" (outlet-grade) products available only on that day.
