August marks the height of summer. Amidst our busy lives, we often fail to pause and consider what "true rest" is, even as we notice the fatigue that accumulates. Hotel stays can be enjoyed in various ways, such as through food, hot springs, and nature. This program focuses on a new wellness experience that harmonizes the mind and body by surrendering to sound and nature. We will hold a "Sound Bath" that leads to deep rest by letting go of thoughts, through the quiet time woven by the resonance of crystal bowls and the Hakone forest.

Our hotel is developing the "Creator Ambassador Program" to expand the possibilities of stay experiences through collaboration with creators. This initiative, the sixth installment, will offer a stay-based wellness experience through a "Sound Bath" that guides participants to deep rest by surrendering to sound and opening their senses.

The serene environment enveloped by the Hakone forest is a place where nature itself becomes part of the sound, including the sound of the wind, the swaying of trees, and the calls of birds. This program offers a time to surrender your entire body to the resonance of instruments such as crystal bowls, detach from your thoughts, and return your mind and body to their original rhythm.

The Sound Bath is not an experience for achieving something or seeking change. It is a time to gently listen to your own senses while surrendering to sound and nature. Surrounded by the wind and birdsong echoing in the Hakone forest, and the delicate tones of crystal bowls, you will let go of your thoughts and be guided to a state of tranquility and deep rest that is difficult to attain in everyday life. By overlapping the serene time woven by the natural environment unique to the summer resort of Hakone and the sounds, we propose a quiet time of rest that can only be encountered in summer.

This program is led by sound therapist MAYU, who guides participants to deep rest by surrendering to sound. Having grown up in a rich natural environment, she uses her childhood senses of feeling the wind, rustling leaves, and the presence of the air as her starting point, and now works as a sound bath practitioner. She values creating a space where participants can open their senses and feel safe to surrender, through the resonance of instruments such as crystal bowls.

The tranquility and vitality of Hakone, along with the innate "ability to rest" that humans possess, are naturally connected through the resonance of sound, creating a deep rest experience unique to Hakone in summer, where one can let go of thoughts and simply be. It is a stay experience with a quiet afterglow, obtainable only here, where senses naturally unravel in a sense of security, allowing you to just be as you are without trying to fix anything.

We aim to create new value through stays and experiences in collaboration with creators from diverse fields such as music, art, crafts, workshops, video, and photography.
