Beppu Onsen Suginoi Hotel (Location: Beppu City, Oita Prefecture; General Manager: Tatsuya Kurama; hereinafter 'Suginoi Hotel') will begin selling original recipe parfaits and parfaits by Kazuo Suzuki, Corporate Executive Pastry Chef of ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS, at the 'LOUNGE' on the first floor of Sora-kan starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

These products are desserts that focus on the balance of visual elegance and taste while making the most of the ingredients' appeal. You can enjoy the parfaits and parfaits supervised by Kazuo Suzuki in the 'LOUNGE,' a high-quality space featuring views from the heights of Sora-kan and walls decorated with Beppu stone.

Two types of parfaits are available: 'Rouge,' with a gorgeous flavor of sweet and sour berries and refreshing lychee, and 'Exotic,' finished with a tropical summer flavor that harmonizes the rich sweetness of mango and the acidity of passion fruit.

'Parfait' is a cold dessert originating in France, meaning 'perfect' in French. It is a frozen dessert in the form of ice cream made by whipping egg yolks, sugar, and fresh cream, characterized by a rich and smooth texture.

Taking advantage of these characteristics, we have prepared two types: 'Berry Berry Parfait,' where you can enjoy the sweet and sour taste of berries and the refreshing taste of cassis, and 'Mango Passion Parfait,' where the rich sweetness of mango and the refreshing acidity of passion fruit spread. Take-out is also available, so you can easily enjoy them after swimming or while strolling through the hotel.
