Osaka University of Arts Junior College announced it will establish a new "International Theme Park Entertainment Course" within its Department of Media and Arts, starting April 2027. This course aims to cultivate job-ready talent for theme parks both in Japan and abroad by offering a curriculum that combines a deep understanding of the entertainment business with comprehensive skills in dance, acting, and practical English. The faculty includes leading industry professionals, such as renowned director Kahori Kanaya, who will teach real-world skills. The college also provides robust support for career paths, including an internal transfer system to the four-year Osaka University of Arts for students wishing to further their studies. Open campus events to experience the new course will begin in May.
