Otafuku Glove Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minoh City, Osaka; Representative: Yuki Idobata; hereinafter, Otafuku Glove), which develops work gloves and innerwear, is continuing its unique corporate culture of "challenging marathon races" as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2026.

"It's a glove company, but for some reason, they run." You might hear such a retort, but this has actually been an annual company event since 2019.

Starting with their first participation in the Yodogawa Kanpei Marathon, employees have successively participated in various full marathons across the country, including the Kobe Marathon from 2022 to 2025, the Lake Biwa Marathon in 2025, and the Tanba Sasayama Marathon in 2026.

Participation is not mandatory; it is purely voluntary.

Nevertheless, the number of participants naturally grows, and it has now become established as a venue for cross-departmental interaction.

And currently... out of 85 employees, 21 (approximately 25%) have challenged a full marathon.

**One in four employees has marathon experience! The marathon completion rate is an astonishing 95%!**
