Honoka Kawakami, a new 8th grader from Hiroshima Bishoujo Zukan, wins Runner-Up at 'Bishoujo Zukan AWARD 2026' out of approximately 4,500 applicants

Honoka Kawakami, affiliated with Hiroshima Bishoujo Zukan and managed by OTAGROUP Inc. (Headquarters: Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Ryuji Shimonishi), won the Runner-Up prize at the 'Bishoujo Zukan AWARD 2026' held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, out of approximately 4,500 applicants. She also received the 'Kyoto Hosho Award'.

About 'Bishoujo Zukan AWARD 2026'

'Bishoujo Zukan', a local free paper featuring beautiful girls from across Japan, has launched the careers of numerous actors and talents since its inception in 2002, including Fumi Nikaido, Maika Yamamoto, Hinako Sakurai, Fumika Baba, and Yuina Kuroshima before their major debuts.

The 'Bishoujo Zukan AWARD' is a nationwide next-generation talent audition held annually since 2019 by the 'Bishoujo Zukan' brand. The audition employs a selection process designed to eliminate geographical disadvantages, including offline screenings held in venues across the country—from Hokkaido to Okinawa—and online screenings via 'MixChannel' accessible from anywhere. After more than six months of screening, 55 finalists were selected from approximately 4,500 total applicants to compete in the final round.
