Starcon Okayama started in 2014 with the concept of "Dreams and Opportunities for Local Youth" and "From Okayama to the Nation." Its purpose is to provide a stage and media exposure opportunities for young people aspiring to be models, talents, actors, and influencers, and to enhance Okayama's cultural outreach capabilities.

Event Features and Highlights

- Finalists selected from applicants aged 11 to 25, primarily from Okayama Prefecture, will appear.

- Grand Prix winners will be decided in the "Girls Division" and "Boys Division."

- In the main competition, participants will showcase their walking, self-promotion, and performance skills.

- In addition to judging by special judges, public votes from attendees will also be reflected.

- It serves as a springboard for sending stars from Okayama to the rest of the country.

Okayama Bishojo Zukan

The regional free paper "Bishojo Zukan," featuring beautiful girls from all over the country as subjects, has produced numerous actors and talents since its launch in 2002, including Fumi Nikaido, Mai Yamagishi, Hinako Sakurai, Fumika Baba, and Yuina Kuroshima before their debuts.

"Hinako Sakurai," the first Grand Prix winner of the "Okayama Bishojo Bijin Contest" held by Okayama Bishojo Zukan since 2014, is active as an actress representing Okayama.

Okayama Bishojo Zukan provides training to acquire the skills and mindset needed to succeed in the entertainment industry. Please rest assured that there are no membership or registration fees.

Application Requirements

- Must be from or reside in Okayama Prefecture.

- Must be from the 4th grade of elementary school to 24 years old at the time of application (※Minors require parental consent).
