We want beginners to easily enjoy outdoor experiences

Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is the dream of "OutdoorCottageGroup."

OutdoorCottageGroup operates five cottages in Kita-Karuizawa where guests can fully enjoy outdoor experiences.

The inspiration for starting the outdoor cottages came from the owner's "bitter experience with solo camping." When solo camping became popular during the COVID-19 pandemic, the owner tried solo camping for the first time. However, it was a very cold period in December, and the experience turned out to be miserable:

- "Couldn't set up the tent properly." - "After finally setting up the tent, it was too cold, so I ended up sleeping in the car with the heater on." - "Couldn't get the bonfire started easily."

Despite these difficulties, I remember that the first bonfire I made with a small fire pit was a little warm and incredibly beautiful.

From that experience, I decided to start cottages where guests can fully enjoy outdoor experiences, with the goals of: - "Allowing beginners to easily enjoy outdoor experiences." - "Being able to sleep comfortably in a warm bed at night."

The theme of the cottages is: "Outdoor like camping, comfortable like a hotel." We provide easy-to-understand instructions on how to start a bonfire and how to enjoy the cottages through videos and other means.
