Pacific League Marketing Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kentaro Narita) and the six Pacific League baseball teams are pleased to announce the implementation of mutual game footage sharing with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars during the 2026 Nippon Life Interleague play, starting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
As a result, highlight clips and videos of BayStars home games during the Interleague will be utilized by 'PERSOL Pacific League TV' and across the SNS and YouTube channels of the Pacific League teams. Conversely, game footage and highlights of BayStars games hosted by Pacific League teams will be featured on the BayStars' SNS and YouTube channels. This initiative began in 2024 and is now in its third year. Through this cross-league collaboration, we aim to utilize video content that allows fans of both the six Pacific League teams and the BayStars to enjoy the Interleague even more. Please look forward to the intense battles of the Interleague!
Comment from Masayuki Kuwahara (Saitama Seibu Lions), who attracted significant attention on the official PERSOL Pacific League TV YouTube channel since his time with the BayStars:
'I was genuinely very happy to be featured on 'Patele' (Pacific League TV) while I was still in the Central League. Every Central League player watches Patele—there's no one who doesn't know it—so the feedback from other players was immense. Thanks to that, my fame has really increased (laughs).'
(On his enthusiasm for the Interleague) 'Until now, I was in the Central League and played against Pacific League teams, but this year it's the other way around. I believe I should just play my own way, so no matter who the opponent is, I want to do my best.'
(On the use of Lions' home game footage on the BayStars' SNS) 'The BayStars are the organization that raised me, and I would be happy if BayStars fans could see me working hard and playing baseball, and feel that effort.'
