palplat, a company specializing in HR tech for the cosmetics and beauty industry, has raised a total of 210 million JPY in a pre-series A round through a third-party allotment of shares. The investors include KUSABI 1st Investment Limited Partnership, PKSHA Algorithm 2nd Investment Limited Partnership, and angel investor Tomohiko Ishikawa. This brings the company's total cumulative funding since its founding to 420 million JPY.

With the capital raised, the company will accelerate product-market fit (PMF) development, including streamlining recruitment processes via AI agents, visualizing talent skills, implementing educational DX functions, and adding one-stop back-office features. Simultaneously, the company will scale its organizational structure through aggressive hiring.

To date, palplat has been addressing labor environment challenges in the beauty industry through services such as 'MakeMe Career' and the AI x Workforce platform 'MakeMe Cloud.' Moving forward, the company intends to evolve as an AI x Workforce platform that generates high-value experiences based on its proprietary talent database, with plans to expand globally, eyeing the Asian market.
