Pacific World entering Kobe Port with a giant banner
On Monday, March 30th, the Pacific World, chartered by Peace Boat, returned to Kobe after completing its 107-day "Round-the-World Voyage Voyage122." The cruise, which departed from Kobe Port on December 14, 2025, traveled through the South Pacific, South America, Africa, and Asia, visiting 19 ports in 13 countries and regions.
Upon entering Kobe Port, a giant banner measuring 30m x 5m with the message "NO WAR! STOP KILLING!" was unfurled on the ship's hull. Approximately 300 cruise participants gathered on deck to call for "NO WAR / Opposition to War."

This action calls for an immediate halt to the military attack on Iran by the United States and Israel, and also demands an end to attacks on civilians by Iran. It also expresses a desire for the swift conclusion of ongoing wars and inhumane attacks around the world, such as in Ukraine and Gaza.
During this cruise, continuing the special project from last year's "80 Years After the War," various projects were carried out under the banner "TIME FOR PEACE." On the theme of nuclear abolition, Ms. Sachiko Wada, Deputy Secretary General of the Japan Confederation of A-Bomb Sufferers Organizations (Nihon Hidankyo), boarded the ship to share her testimony. Additionally, a special exhibition on the Nobel Peace Prize was held at sea, and a lecture was given on learning about the nuclear damage in the Pacific from indigenous peoples of Tahiti.
