The Startup World Cup 2026 Tokyo Regional, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures (headquartered in San Jose, CA; Representative: Anis Uzzaman), will feature a startup exhibition event on July 17, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. This exhibition offers startups a platform to pitch their products, secure funding from top-tier VC/CVC/angel investors, build business partnerships with major corporations, acquire new customers, and gain media coverage. Applications are open until June 30 on a first-come, first-served basis. The Startup World Cup is one of the world's largest startup pitch competitions, held in over 130 countries and regions, culminating in a global final in San Francisco with a $1 million (approx. 150 million yen) investment prize. A similar 150 million yen investment prize is also prepared specifically for the Japan regional. Over 4,000 visitors and online viewers are expected for the Tokyo Regional event.
