2027 Graduate Job Hunting Survey (Undergraduate Seniors & Master's Students)

Benesse i-Career, a joint venture between Benesse Corporation and Persol Career, has released the results of its '2027 Graduate Job Hunting Survey' conducted via its new graduate offer service, 'doda campus.' The survey highlights a growing polarization between students who secure and accept offers early to conclude their job search, and those who continue searching despite holding offers, driven by a desire for greater satisfaction. As of the end of April, 72.3% of students held at least one informal job offer, the highest rate in the past five years. Conversely, 30.6% of students reported continuing their job search because they were not satisfied with their current offers. Companies are now urged to balance the automation and efficiency of recruitment processes through AI with high-touch, personalized engagement to better support individual student needs.
