Persol Holdings, operating under the group vision "Work, and Smile," announced in May that it has established a safeguarding policy for its career education workshops for elementary and junior high schools and has renewed the program's official website.

Positioning future generations as key stakeholders, the Persol Group promotes "FR (Future Generations Relations)" activities to enhance dialogue with them. As part of these efforts, the group has been offering free career education workshops to schools nationwide since 2018, which led to the recent website renewal.

The renewal includes the introduction and implementation of a "Safeguarding Policy," which sets rules and regulations to protect the next generation from physical, mental, or sexual harm and abuse associated with their activities. The website has also been updated to include interviews with teachers who have implemented the workshops, providing insights into utilization and benefits from a school-site perspective.

A key feature is the establishment of the safeguarding policy to ensure safety when interacting with future generations. Additionally, by publishing real interviews with teachers, the company aims to support other schools considering the program.

The workshop is a free career education program for 4th to 9th-grade students. Since its inception in 2018, it has provided classes to 79,982 students in 750 schools across 45 prefectures. It was recognized with the Excellence Award at the 15th Career Education Awards and the FY2025 "I-taiken Award" hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
