On July 5, 2026 (Sun), we held the soft volleyball tournament "Kanazawa City Hometown Team Noto Reconstruction Support Project (*) 2026 Hearts as One!! Noto Soft Volleyball Tournament" at the Wajima Junior High School Gymnasium.

More than two and a half years have passed since the earthquake, and many challenges remain in the region for the recovery of daily life, with a significant decrease in opportunities for exercise and interaction. Against this backdrop, this tournament was planned with the aim of providing "material and emotional support" to those affected by the disaster, and attracted 23 teams and approximately 130 participants.

On the day of the tournament, exciting rallies and much laughter echoed through the gymnasium on every court. There was also time for interaction between the participants and the players during breaks, creating memorable moments. Participants shared comments such as, "It was so much fun to be able to talk with the players casually and practice together," and "I want to participate again."

*About the "Kanazawa City Hometown Team Noto Reconstruction Support Project" This project supports Noto's reconstruction through interaction with disaster victims via sports by Kanazawa City's hometown teams.
